On New Years Day I peed on a stick and found out that a new Landry is on the way... Estimated due date is September 3, 2007 (AKA Labor Day!).
We're pretty excited, but it all seems so surreal. It's hard to imaging our lives with a little baby around. Luckily we have almost 7 more months to get used to the idea!
We had our first appointment with the midwife on 1/31. They took 6 vials of blood for various tests. The best part was we got to hear the heartbeat. It was very reassuring to know that there is actually something in there! I've been feeling pretty good - just a couple bad days here and there. We don't plan to find out the gender. We'll have one ultrasound at around 20 weeks. Jeff and I have been throwing around some names. We're having a hard time coming up with a girls name. And we haven't even thought about middle names. Again, luckily we have almost 7 more months to figure it out!

Worked on restoring a 1964 Cub Cadet with father. Pics are in the projects section. Came out really nice. Dad has gotten all the mechanics working really nice.. Pretty cool. Check it out!

So the past couple weeks have been pretty crazy. Work crazy and Personal Crazy for both of us.
We have been trying to get our ranch house ready for sale. It doesn't need much but still it needs! I've completey painted the basement and the basement stairs and it looks 10x better , so that's one thing out of the way. My father and I (mostly him ) are redoing our 1964 Cub Cadet tractor which we will desperatly need to use this spring and summer on the land. We will be painting it today. Our Firstday Cottage has been on the market for over two months. We've had quite a bit of intrest and 1 offer that was bowed out from. We have all the paperwork to the county for the subdivide of our current property and the spec house, which we need before we are able to sell. We should hear back from them in 2 or 3 weeks. I'm optimistic that all will go well. Money is tight so we are somewhat limited to what we can do at our house... can't wait till we get our tax money back
